Images That Cause a Slowdown in Time

From emotional landscapes, lakes and oceans to abstract and imaginative works, my paintings capture images and moments that cause me to slow down and reflect. If my art encourages the viewer to pause, look more closely and remember what they are seeing, then I have accomplished something meaningful.

I began painting in 2019, having never picked up a brush before. Many of my paintings are inspired by images, places and moments I remember—others simply emerge through colour, imagination and emotion. Explore the galleries below and discover my original paintings.

My galleries bring together the many subjects and styles I have explored since discovering painting later in life. From mountains, lakes and ocean waves to moonlit scenes, architecture, sailing, abstract art and imaginative works, each collection reflects a different moment, memory or idea.

I often paint from what stays in my mind—the movement of water, the shape of a landscape, changing light, colour, nature and places that have left an impression on me. Other paintings begin simply with imagination and develop as the brush moves across the canvas.
